How do I donate?
You can donate here!
Where does my money go?
Currently we have a few of different programs. We are using donations to fund treat making, veterans adoption / education programs, and shelter programs.
Do you save animals?
More often than not, we do not. Most animals we will be in contact with will be on-their-way-out. The fact is they can not all be saved, but we try like hell when we find an animal we think we can home!
I am a Veteran, how do I volunteer?
Fill out the roster!
Where are you located?
We are an Arizona based Non- Profit. However, we do not have an official office and do most of our work online and at shelters.
Are you a 501(c) (3)?
We absolutely are, donations are tax deductible! E.I.N. 81-1552201
I have an animal that needs your help, who should I contact?
I know a veteran that may want to help, who do I contact?
Can I send treats?
Unfortunately you can not. We only send treats we have made at our Treat-Up Meetups. You can submit a recipe for our cookbook though!
Can I buy a shirt?
Will you be in my area?
Maybe! We are traveling to areas that have high euthanasia rates so if your county is one of them there is a good chance we will be in your area.
Are you there with the animal during euthanasia?
This depends on the situation. Most shelters do not allow being in the room for the process, but we always prepare all the way up for the final moment.
Can I do this at my local shelter?
If you believe this is something your local shelter could be interested in shoot us a email and let them know about us!
Why is the shelter volunteering only for veterans?
The reason we only use veterans for this process is because being veterans ourselves we realize that there is huge opportunity for these veterans to come back and make a powerful statement and examples in their community of how to treat animals. If veterans rally behind a cause like this others will follow.
What else does One Last Treat do?
We tend to deal strictly with end stage animals. We will help out any animal we can in the last day, few months, or year of their life. So this can range from adoptions to just a last walk in the park.
I have a social media picture I would like you to post, where can I send it?
Shoot it over to our email!
How long have you been doing this?
We are a relatively new organization. We have only been around since early 2016.
What are your plans for the future?
With the support we get everyday from people who want to help our mission we plan on bringing veterans into communities all over the country to provide classes and education to the areas that need it most. We want to see veterans in schools and at community events steeping up and helping the community solve their problems with pet overcrowding and other animal related issues.
